  1. I work for manufacturer and supplier of optical data storage discs for professional and archival applications.
One of our Customer has sent the complaint to us that our DVD+R 8X DL media is showing write error during recording on Optiarc AD-5260S drive (f/w 1.Z5). We have tested same batch of the discs on AD-5260S f/w 1.00, and we could not reproduce the write/read error. Could you please guide me what are the differences between these two firmware’s and how these can affect on drive performance. Do you know who developed this robotic firmware, is it an original OEM/Optiarc soft?
    Thanks,
    Tomasz
