The NEC Drive Converter has been updated to version 1.1 with support for the latest 3550/4550 drives and it fixes a bug that only allowed using the first drive.
There’s now a page for NEC’s 3550 drive available. Starting with some basic info about this drive and the 1.05 firmware including an RPC1 version.

It adds support for ND4550 drives and fixes a bug that enables the reset buttons on unsupported drives.
I was quite busy during the last few days (and nights) updating Binflash to support for ND4550A drives and modifying some firmwares.
Big thanks go out to TDB for their help with the checksum routine on 4550 drives and to Dee for testing the 4550 support in Binflash and a lot of testing with my modified 4550 firmwares.
I just spent some time on bitsetting code and added some new firmwares to our NEC ND6650A page. While the 1.42 and 2.42 firmwares have already been there before, I added bitsetting versions of these firmwares along with some original and bitsetting versions of 1.62 and 2.62 firmwares.
