The NEC ND3570A DVD burner was released by NEC in February 2006. The NEC ND3571 burner adds support for LabelFlash but both drives - together with the ND4570 and ND4571 - share the same hardware and only differ in firmware. Do not try to simply flash a NEC 3571 firmware on a NEC 3570 drive or vice versa. This will NOT work. Unlike previous drives, the ND3570 and ND3571 are able to start 8x burns at 6x now.
